Fixed Wiring Inspections
Every electrical installation deteriorates with use and age. It is important therefore, that the person responsible for the maintenance of the installation ensures that the safety of users is not put at risk, and that the installation continues to be in a safe and serviceable condition.
A Fixed Wiring Inspection carried out by NEAT Ltd will provide you with a report on the condition of your existing installation.
Our report will indicate any departures from BS 7671:2008+A3:2015, and make any recommendations that may be necessary to bring it up to the standards required by current legislation.
We will provide a quotation for any repairs that may be necessary, but that report will be comprehensive enough for you to go to tender, should you require.
It is worth highlighting that this is a requirement of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and increasingly, insurance companies are insisting that Fixed Wire Inspections are carried out as a condition, before they will insure buildings and stock.
